Hi, I’m Evan. I’m not a chef, but I play one on the internet.

During the day I work in commercial finance (yawn), by night I fight crimes (eat food) with my wife and our faithful side-kick (labradoodle). This blog is a way to organize our chaotic food thoughts and find the stories within them. I write the words and manage the social media, while my lovely wife, Tina, handles all the actual work (web dev, cooking, and photography). She takes (and sometimes illustrates) the good pictures*, while any out-of-focus, overly warm, or highly filtered iPhone pics are taken by me. We tag-team the food, but I mostly just set timers, preheat ovens, and taste test.
